Well I am sure thats what you have been thinking to yourself this last 2 weeks isn't it! ;) One of the best and worst things of being married to a Fireman is his ability to use vacation time, and TX's (time exchange) and days off, work some magic and voila he has 40 straight days off!! Minus Easter that is! Tell me why my husband took an OT shift on Easter? Well because he is blonde and doesn't think ahead all the time. I still love him through it all though :). Its kinda like your first car... where it has all these little things wrong with it... a certain way you have to work it to get it started but in the end those will be the things you miss about it! Yeah its like that, so back to my story. My handsome man has reworked his schedule so that he can be home the whole month of April!!! Yahoo!
Yeah I am sure you are all thinking... WOW how awesome to have your husband home for 40 days!! Most of the time yes that is how I feel but sometimes (mostly at night when I feel like stretching out in our queen size bed all by myself but cant because his 6'3" 210lbs. body is taking up more then half) I miss my quiet me time. With him home it is sometimes hard to remember ME. Me the blogger, Me the Hair stylist, Me the Mommy, Me the friend. When he is home for this amount of time we usually have a long to-do list to get done. Which means my personal to-do list gets pushed aside. I normally save my stuff for his days at work so that I do not take away from "us" time which is good when he is on/off every other day. It seems to be a good balance. But today as I send out this blog I have not written a blog in 2 weeks, I have had maybe 3 clients and my acrylic nails are hanging on by a thread :( lol. Ill tell you what though our back yard looks amazing!! :D So thats it thats my explanation I have been M.I.A in the blog world because I have been pre occupied with my "Wifey" duties. Making sure the man is fed, rested and well we all know but do not need to mention the last ;)
